When my mother does beets, she likes to eat them plain. I don’t. I prefer how she did them before.
- Cutting board
- Brown Sugar
- Boil the beets until soft
- Take off the peel
- Dice the beets
- Put the diced beets in a bowl and add a little bit of vinegar. (Maybe a few tea spoons depending on the amount if diced beets)
- Add a few teaspoons of sugar and stir it making sure it dissolves.
That’s it. Some people might add corn to the mix.
